The Hajar is located 22km away to the north eastern of El Ola - on latitude of 26.47 to the north and longitude of 37.53 to the east. The name Hajar was given to this place since old days and it gains its historical fame from its location on the Old Trade Road that joins the South of the Arabian Peninsula and El Sham, and from its habitats known as Thamoud People where it was mentioned in El Koran that they refused the Prophet Saleh advocating and wounding the camel that God sent for them as an utterance. |
